The construction of the Gari Processing Facility at Nteso No. 1 was started as part of the Fanteakwa North District Assembly’s mandate to empower and enhance the well-being of the District’s residents. This facility will help add value to locally produced cassava and lower post-harvest losses for the District’s farmers.
Together with the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, the Norwegian Embassy in Ghana worked with the Fanteakwa North District Assembly to construct and install the completed and operational equipment.
